Troubleshooting

What PerpsX's messages mean and exactly what to do next.

1 min read

#"Order status not confirmed"

The exchange's reply could not be read, so PerpsX cannot tell whether the order was accepted. PerpsX looks the order up by its client order ID and keeps it marked pending until the outcome is known.

  1. Check Open orders, Positions and Fills.
  2. Only resubmit once you have confirmed the first order did not execute.

#"Slow down for a moment"

Polymarket is rate limiting your account. PerpsX pauses its own background requests and blocks new orders until the cooldown ends. Wait about a minute. Repeated attempts extend the limit.

#"Trading session needed"

Your session expired or was revoked. Reconnect your wallet and open a new session. Open positions are unaffected.

#"Leverage not confirmed"

The exchange did not confirm the leverage or margin mode, so the order was not sent. Refresh, check the leverage setting and try again.

#"Order is below minimum"

The order's notional is below the instrument's minimum. Increase the size.

#"Not enough margin"

Your available margin cannot cover the order. Reduce size or leverage, or deposit more pUSD.

#Wallet not responding

If the wallet does not respond within a few seconds, PerpsX shows a retry instead of spinning. Unlock your wallet extension, make sure it is on Polygon, and select Retry.
